- Thank you.
- Trouble on this job is the food is really good, which is not always true for food in scenes.
- Thank you Mrs. H. - It's hard to beat a roast really, but also the breakfasts are amazing.
And there was one day, I think we were filming after lunch actually, and then we all wrapped at the same time, so we just sat around the table and had breakfast.
- No one moved - At lunch time.
- Yeah - That's a wrap.
- That's a wrap.
It was delicious and it was just the right time for a snack, like afternoon snack.
We were just getting a wee bit peckish.
- When the scene is completed, all the cast and crew just descend upon the table and just grabbing bits of egg, sausage, like whatever they can get their hands on.
- Can have the rest of this one if you like.
- I am an implant this year in the house, so I never had experienced a breakfast and that's definitely my favorite.
Yeah, it's really special.
You can actually eat for reals and then when they come and top up you're like, "Yes, go on."
- I always start out for filming, so confident like, "Yeah I'm gonna have little bit of sausage on this line then a little bit of egg on this line."
And then buy, sort of, take eight I'm just like, "Why have I done this to myself again?"
I never learn my lesson.
- One time, it was just, it was bread and cheese - You don't have to eat it (laughs) - And things like that, and pork pies and things.
But I was really hungry.
It was before lunch.
It's a total rookie error.
- Looks...but there's just so much of it.
- I enjoyed walking out with a piece of toast in the last season, quoting Robert Eric and then Shakespeare.
- There is a tide in the affairs of men.
- Tristan eating a potato in one.
- Yes - Will always be a fond memory.
- It was sort of like written in the script that Tristan comes home and just saves the day by his enormous appetite.
- Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
Anything to help you, Siegfried.
- And the director was just sort of shouting, "A roast potato!"
And then I'd put a roast potato mouth and he be like, "Bit of beef.
Now some carrots."
And I was like, honestly, my mouth was like out here.
- Good boy.
- Tristan actually makes an amazing shepherd's pie in this series.
- I don't think I had any of Tristan's meals, but- - That's true.
- I had some of Helen's.
- [Helen] It's a little burned.
- It's perfect.
- [Rachel] In the bed set.
- [Nicholas] Yeah.
- It's lovely example of Helen's cooking, in beginning of episode two.
- Yeah.
- Lovely... Texture.
- [Helen] Thank were done cooking upstairs, aren't we?
- Oh, thank God.
I mean, yes.
I think we are.
